A welcome to the Cloud Conference and discussion about the FIS Cloud Strategy and changes to enable it that are underway.
FIS public cloud adoption and SRE perspective of challenges in standards and governance.
FIS is ready to take the next step for being a fully Cloud First organization. We will discuss what those next steps are from an architecture and automation perspective.
Join Vidur Brij Khanna, AWS Partner Enablement Manager, as he provides an overview of AWS Training and Certification. Vidur will dive deep into AWS training opportunities that FIS employees can take advantage of today, highlighting a call to action focused on Generative AI. Jeff Wagner from Microsoft will speak their vast array of educational resources. The resouces are carefully selected and organized to specifically address the unique needs of learners, ensuring that the training is highly relevant and effectively supports their project objectives and overall success.
The public cloud has transformed the way businesses operate, enabling them to innovate faster, scale on demand, and deliver better customer experiences. However, the cloud also introduces new challenges for managing and optimizing the costs, value, and agility of cloud resources. Even as FIS gears towards significantly increasing responsible adoption of the public cloud, there is a need for us to take concrete steps to manage our costs effectively. This session will cover key aspects of FinOps and its applicability to FIS, and also ongoing major initiatives that are helping set the stage for us to scale our solutions within the public cloud in an efficient manner.
